HealthFirst Family Care Center’s medical, dental and nursing staff work together to develop a plan of care that meets our patients’ unique needs and help them achieve the best health care outcomes by offering the following services.

Adult Medicine:

Our medical staff has been specially trained in Family Medicine to handle a wide range of health needs. Telephone coverage is provided 24 hours per day by calling our main number at (508) 679-8111.

Pediatric Medicine:

We offer complete medical care for children from ages birth through adolescence. Our Board Certified Pediatrician helps keep children healthy by providing excellent treatment for acute illness, as well as immunizations, checkups and routine screenings.

Adult and Pediatric Dental Care:

HealthFirst’s professional team of dentists, hygienists and dental assistants offer preventive services including examinations, cleanings, fluoride treatments, sealants and other services including fillings, extractions and partial and complete dentures.

Cardiology Services:

Specialists from Internal Medicine and Cardiology Associates make multiple monthly visits to HealthFirst to address our patients’ heart health needs.

Prenatal & Obstetrical Services:

Staff from Truesdale OB-GYN PC offers a complete prenatal program to help expectant moms experience a safe pregnancy and look forward to a healthy baby. Once the baby is born, HealthFirst's board-certified Pediatrician is available to provide care for your child from infancy to adolescence.

Case Management of Chronic Diseases:

As part of a holistic approach to treating chronic diseases such as asthma, diabetes, and heart disease, our team of registered nurses, physicians and our Certified Diabetes Educators assist patients in developing treatment plans and goals. A team member is always available to assist our patients with questions about their health.

Nutrition Counseling:

A registered dietitian works with physicians and medical case managers to develop nutrition goals and healthy eating strategies that work well with our patients’ lifestyles.

Diversity Initiatives and Medical Interpreter Services:

Our multi-lingual Medical Interpreters assist providers and patients in the English, Spanish, and Portuguese. Patients may request an interpreter at the time of appointment registration. In addition, our culturally diverse employees provide a welcoming experience to all of HealthFirst’s patients.

Fall River WIC Program:

The state-recognized Women Infant Children (WIC) Nutrition Program provides nutrition and health education, healthy food and other services free of charge to Massachusetts families who qualify.

Some On-Site Services are provided by our community partners

Laboratory Services:

Southcoast Health System staffs an onsite phlebotomist who obtains laboratory specimens that are tested at Charlton Memorial Hospital with rapid results.
