Diman School-Based Health Center

HealthFirst Family Care Center Inc. and Diman Regional Vocational Technical High School are happy to announce a unique partnership by opening the first School-Based Health Center in the Greater Fall River area.

The School-Based Health Center at Diman will offer primary care services provided by medical doctors and family nurse practitioners. HealthFirst’s Chief Medical Officer Eric R. Vaught, DO, MBA, MPH, FACHE, in addition to providing medical care, will also provide administrative and medical oversight. In addition to primary care, the school-based health center will provide integrated mental health and counseling services, as well as nutrition therapy, chronic disease care management, preventive health screenings, and testing and vaccination services.

All services are provided free of charge for the students at Diman.

What does this mean?

  • Your child can see a doctor or nurse practitioner at Diman instead of an outside medical appointment free of charge, with no co-pay.
  • HealthFirst services complement the work of the school nurses. This allows students to receive the next level of care without missing school for an outside medical appointment. It also allows you to schedule an appointment at the school for your child.
  • Students can be seen at Diman for annual check-ups, immunizations, sick visits, sore throat, cough, stomach pains, flu and cold, and much more.
