Hepatitis A

Hepatitis A is an infection that can cause diarrhea, belly pain and fever, but then goes away on its own without medications. It can make people feel very sick and be more serious for people who already have other kinds of liver disease or other health problems.

Hepatitis A is spread through close, personal contact with an infected person or when a person unknowingly ingests the virus from objects, food, or drinks that are contaminated by small amounts of stool (poop) from an infected person.

The good news is that a safe, effective vaccine can prevent hepatitis A. We are here to help you get vaccinated.
