HealthFirst’s FNP Residency Program prepares the next generation of nurse practitioners to deliver exceptional, patient-centered care to medically complex and underserved populations in the Greater Fall River community.

This paid, 12-month postgraduate program—launching in September—supports new FNPs as they transition into independent practice through structured mentorship, specialty rotations, and hands-on clinical experience. Residents gain advanced skills in women’s health, pediatrics, adult medicine, behavioral health, addiction medicine, and more, building the confidence and expertise needed to thrive in primary care.

The program concludes with a one-year employment commitment, offering continued growth and the opportunity to make a lasting impact in community health.
